From far away, the industrial part of Dobračina Street looks empty and boring. But if you come closer, you will discover lovely places. 

The trend of putting new life in the lower part of the old district, Dorćol, did not stop yet. It got a spot for interesting places such as creative spaces and cool bars. If you come from the city center to Dobračina Street, the first thing, which is on your way is Dorćol Platz.

Horesterol Restaurant

Horesterol Restaurant (engl.: cholesterol) is located next to Dorćol Platz and is made for gourmet people. Everday, they offer five to six different food specialities, such as Horesterol Schnitzel with slanina, cheese and kajmak (a creamy dairy product similar to clotted cream), Holesburger and a lot of other meat dishes. But there are also delicious dishes for people, who prefer light and healthy food, such as grilled chicken with cranberry-almond sauce and rice, pastry made of vegetables and leek risotto with walnuts. P.S.: childfriendly place with excellent staff.

Radionica

Radionica Bar, was before it turned into a bar a real workshop. The bar kept the old machines and made interior out of them, such as the DJ pult. You can enjoy your morning coffee on the colourful pillows outside, have lunch or dinner or take a drink in the evening while listening to nice DJ tunes. Pržionica D59B

Pržionica is the first place in Serbia, which is a micro roastery and a coffee bar at the same time. They have a nice selection of coffee from Brasil, Costa Rica, Peru, Kenya… Because of the space in the industrial zone, the designer kept the interior minimalistic. There a not many places to sit inside, but a huge community table, which makes you feel close to people you don’t even know. It’s a non smoking place, which serves only filtered water besides the coffee. Make sure you go there on a sunny day, because it is really nice to sit outside.

Bakery Šarlo

The Šarlo Bakery prepares bread the traditional way, without additives. One can find interesting bread combinations, such as honey, raisins and nuts. Besides bread, they offer organic honey and tea from the Supernatural Bar. You can also find another Šarlo Bakery in Sindjelićeva Street in Vračar. Their logo reminds on a artist’s signature.

It doesn’t matter at which time of day you’ll come to this place, because there is always something going on.
