Check out more outdoor bars, locals love in Belgrade.

  1. Blaznavac

Blaznavac is located in Dorćol, the old part of the city and was a mansion before it turned into a bar. This place is decorated with the coolest things, like elephants, tigers, a carriage and old sewing machines.

Blaznavac serves good cocktails and organizes cool parties. If you want to drink something Serbian, try the Plazma (cookies) Shake.

2. Kafe-Knjizara Meduza

I loooove this place, especially during spring and summer, when Meduza opens its little, colourful garden on the street. This bar is located in a calm street in Dorćol, close to the Bajrakli Mosque. Sitting outside reminds me on the streets in Barcelona.

Inside, you will find a big bookshelf, which always welcomes you to borrow and read a book while drinking your coffee or beer. Wide range of drinks, beautiful people and lovely staff.

Meduza at night:

  • Gospodar Jevremova Street 6
  • Mon – Thurs: 08:00 – 23:45
  • Friday: 08:00 – 01:00

3. Topolska Osamnaest

This bar got its name after the street they are located in, which is maybe the most popular adress in Belgrade because of the song by Snežana Savić – Topolska 18 and a series from the 90ties named Srećni Ljudi.

I like this bar because of the calm atmosphere and the cosy deck chairs. It is an ideal place for studying or reading a book, when you are alone. Every Wednesday Topolska 18 organizes a Pub Quiz and on Sundays film screenings. Good coffee and delicious smoothies, I promise.

3. Smokvica

Smokvica (little fig) was named after the fig tree in their beautiful garden. This caffé is located in one of my favourite streets, Kralja Petra Street, close to the city center.

They have a nice menu. So you can drink coffee, enjoy some fresh squeezed juices and eat something while enjoying this lovely place. Smokvica has almost 5 (one under construction) different locations in Belgrade and all of them are cute in their own way.

  • Kralja Petra Street 73
  • Mon – Sun: 09:00 – 00:00

4. Villa Maska

Villa Maska is located in Vračar and is a far more beautiful place than pictures can show. The garden has a lot of little details, brought back from trips around the world, which makes the place exotic.

The little Buddha fountain gives Villa Maska a relaxed atmosphere. I like the Spritzer (white wine and sparkling water) with different flavours such as lavender or elder, because it reminds me on Vienna. P.S.: Great food!
