Good Habits – A Walk Through Contemporary Art is a wonderful project, which is orginazed by the Remont Gallery, once a month.
Remont is an independent artistic association, which is located in the city center. The Good Habits Event is organized for contemporary art lovers and people, who want to improve their knowlegde of this kind of art.
The walk always starts at Remont Gallery, where visitors will get a short introduction on the contemporary art scene and the current exhibition there. After that, there are always two other exhibitions in two different galleries, a few minutes walk from Remont. The Curators or the artist her/himself will give you a detailed information about the message/meaning behind her/his work, which is always presented in an interesting way. The artists or curators are always open for any kind of questions or discussions.
The cool thing is, that the entrance to all those galleries, the guidance and the prospects with detailed information about the visited exhibitions and further gallery recommendations are for free.
The intention behind this great project is to animate people to visit galleries and their exhibitions more often. Further, Remont wants to give people an understanding about contemporary art in a professional, but easy to understand way.
The atmosphere at this events is always happy and friendly and a spoken english guidance is also possible. The whole event takes about three hours, which means almost one hour per exhibition (11:00 – 14:00).
