Yes, it’s true, there is a new culinary pearl in the district of Vračar! Restoran Tri, a personal favourite of mine, opened a new bistro in one of Belgrade’s most beautiful neighborhoods, between the Kalenić market and the Church of Saint Sava and people seem to love it.

The lovely trio from Restoran Tri decided to take over the former location of café fenjer and turned it into an adorable bistro. Here you can enjoy dishes like smoked salmon in pastry net, beef sirloin so rich in taste, marinated chicken breast and larded cold pork neck in a hot pumpkin seed sauce, to name only a few of the delicious options. Don’t worry, there is also something to satisfy vegetarians with meals like mushroom or strawberry carpaccio, home made ravioli and gnocchi. They are, by the way, also very good with healthy and light snacks.

At Bistro Tri you will be also served Serbian food like Serbian cone with mild kulen (a type of flavoured sausage) creme, Serbian terrine, stuffed peppers and artisan sausages. But the menu was curated in a way that it stands out from the typical Serbian restaurants.

For dessert you can choose between a chocolate tart, a white chocolate mousse in combination with truffle and beer and the ‘Niko kao ja  surprise cake à la ask the waiter. For digestif, I recommend, the popular rakija (brandy) made out of rose petals. Trust me, it’s the best. With its perfect location and the down-to-earth atmosphere, Bistro Tri is the right one for any occasion. Especially now, you can enjoy your lunch and dinner also in the intimate garden.
