Outdoor Bars Part 4 – new inspiration for warm summer days and nights.

1. Кaвказ/Kavkaz

Kavkaz is the Serbian word for Caucasus and is a region at the border of Europe and Asia, situated between the Black and the Caspian seas. This little bistro is located on the corner of Cara Uroša and Gospodara Jevremova Street next to the Meduza bar.

I like this place because of the beautiful, calm street, which is surrounded by green trees. It is an urban and cosy place, with good coffee and lovely staff. If you like Jazz Music you should visit Kavkaz on a Friday or Saturday night. Perfect place to mingle with local people.

2. Azbuka Bar

Azbuka (engl.: alphabet) is a romantic place at the Terazije Square. It is located in the city center but is still a calm place, which reminds me on a bistro in Paris. They have a really interesting music program; with the main focus on Jazz Music.

I like to drink their fresh squeezed smoothies and lemonade with elderflower.

3. Tranzit Bar

Tranzit Bar has a wonderful garden, perfect for a coffee during the day, but even better at night. Their parties (house, pop) are cool, especially outside, because the Sava River gives you a holiday feeling. If you are not a party-person, you can visit Tranzit in the late afternoon for a glass of wine.

Try the food – it’s delicious because it is an international mix of the Italian, French, Spanish and Greek cuisine.

4. Samo Pivo

Samo Pivo serves, as their name says, only beer. From their big terrace, you can see one of Belgrade’s popular street: the Balkanska Street. This bar serves 7 different kinds of draft beer (Kabinet, Grimbergen, Erdinger) and 50 different national and international types of beer. But this is not all, because this beer paradise keeps adding new beer brands.

The amtosphere is relaxed and the staff is lovely, they will talk about beer with you all night. The only difficult thing at Samo Pivo is, to decide which beer you should order. If you want to try beer from the first Serbian craft brewery, I recommend you Kabinet Beer.

5. Baštino

Baštino is a restuarant with a unique garden located in the same complex as the Roda cinema on Banovo Brdo. No matter if it’s summer or winter, you can always sit in the garden, thanks to their “glass-door-system.” Sitting there reminds me on a place in Italy. The restaurant has a calm and relaxing atmosphere.

Baštino serves delicous food and if you order breakfast, you will get a smoothie for free. During the weekends, this place features live music.
